AION 2 November Update: Crafting, Rewards and Events
Everything in the AION 2 November 4 update outside the Ludra raid itself: guaranteed crafting, Exploration rewards, pet souls, new bracelets and the login events.
The AION 2 November update arrived on November 4 (November 3 in PST) with more than the Ludra raid. True Dragon and Star Dragon gear can now be crafted with a 100% success rate, Expedition (Exploration) runs pay much better, some pet souls drop straight from dungeons and a 14-day check-in event is running. This guide walks through each change and what to do with it this week.
Guaranteed True Dragon and Star Dragon crafting
The biggest change for crafters is a new set of recipes that make True Dragon and Star Dragon gear with a 100% success rate. The existing recipes can fail; the new ones cannot. Here is how they differ:
- They never trigger a COMBO (Great Success), so you will not get the bonus rewards that come with one.
- Every piece crafted with them is Bound and cannot be traded.
- Both Bound and Unbound Artisan to Epic gear can go in as crafting materials.
The old recipes are still there and work exactly as before: they can fail, they can COMBO, and the gear they make stays tradable. So the choice comes down to what you want from the craft.
Which AION 2 crafting recipe to use

Better Expedition (Exploration) rewards and the new Kina limits
After the update, Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island and Ferocious Horn Den in Exploration mode give rewards matched to Normal difficulty:
- More Bound Kina, Enhance Stones, Bound Silentium and Bound Soul Codex.
- A new drop: Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique), Bound.
- Refining Stones and crafting materials in the same amounts as Normal, but Bound and not tradable.
- The number of runs for guaranteed rewards and the available runs now match Conquest difficulty.
Kina from Exploration Expeditions now scales down with cumulative runs:

The notes do not say when the run count resets, so watch your Kina per run and stop farming Exploration once it drops if Kina is your main goal. The AION 2 Kina farming guide covers other income to switch to.
Pet souls from dungeons and other quality of life
Souls for some pets used to come only from Pet Chests. They can now also drop directly from Expedition and Transcendence dungeons. The notes do not list which pets, so check the dungeon loot window. Our AION 2 pets guide explains what to do with souls once you have them.
- Item Source now shows dungeon difficulty.
- The Color Palette has a new Standard Color Code field for Customization, Closet and chat font color, and you can re-enter codes you used before.
- EU players whose content entry passes did not reset on October 25 will be granted the missing passes.
New bracelets and Gear Change Vouchers from Ludra
We cover the raid itself in the AION 2 Ludra Sanctuary guide. The reward side added two new bracelets and a voucher system that also works for Normal players.
- Abyssal Bracelet (Bound) can be Amplified up to level 3 and can drop from both Normal and Hard Abyssal Forge.
- Ludra's Bracelet (Bound) can be Amplified up to level 5.
- Clears give a guaranteed Gear Change Voucher you can select: Gear Change Voucher: Ludra from Normal, or Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) from Hard. Both are Bound.
Substance Morph turns those vouchers into upgrades:

Normal players can therefore reach Ludra's Bracelet without clearing Hard: six Normal vouchers make one. If you clear Hard, three Hard vouchers do the same job.

Three events are live. Times below are PST as written in the notes; Europe runs on matching CET times.

The check-in runs from November 4, 06:00 to November 17, 23:59 PST. You check in once a day, and the 7 rewards are spread over 14 days, so you can miss up to 7 days and still get everything.
- Odyle Energy Boost: log in daily and claim 4 Odyle Energy from in-game mail, one delivery per account per day, until the November 10 maintenance (PST). The mail expires 7 days after it arrives.
- Ludra Hunt: until the November 24 maintenance (PST), clearing Ludra earns a title. In each region, Rank 1, the first party to clear Hard, gets The First to Slay Ludra; Rank 2 (parties 2 to 5) gets Ludra's Conqueror; Rank 3 (parties 6 to 20) gets Ludra's Vanquisher. Everyone else who clears Normal or Hard gets Ludra's Nemesis. Titles are sent by December 2, 23:59 PST.
Abyss and field boss changes in short
The update also opened a new standardized PvP zone, Chaotic Outer Reshanta, for level 45 and above with 3 hours per week. It has its own page: read our AION 2 Outer Reshanta guide for entry, rewards and the 50% Abyss Point cut.
On the boss side, Artifact Siege and the Artifact Bosses now run only on Thursdays and Saturdays, Abyss Corridor Abyss Points per run went up by 50%, the Gartua and High Commander Lagta field bosses respawn every 11 hours instead of 12, and Argo, the Spirit King spawns twice a day at 10:30 and 22:30.
What to do first this week
- Check in every day you can, and claim your 4 Odyle Energy from the mail before it expires.
- Sort your bags: Bound Artisan to Epic gear is now crafting material for guaranteed True Dragon and Star Dragon pieces.
- Run your Exploration Expeditions early while you are inside the full Kina bracket of the first 40 runs.
- Clear Ludra on any difficulty for the Ludra's Nemesis title and start collecting vouchers toward Ludra's Bracelet.
- Try Outer Reshanta if you are level 45 or higher, especially if your gear is behind.

AION 2 November update FAQ
Is AION 2 crafting guaranteed now?
Only with the new recipes. True Dragon and Star Dragon gear can be crafted with a 100% success rate, but the gear is Bound and the recipe cannot trigger a COMBO (Great Success). The old recipes still have failure risk, COMBO chances and tradable results.
Can you trade gear from the new AION 2 crafting recipes?
No. All gear crafted with the new 100% recipes is Bound and cannot be traded. Use the old recipes if you want to sell what you craft.
Why am I getting less Kina from Exploration Expeditions?
Since November 4, Exploration Expedition Kina depends on cumulative runs: 100% for runs 0 to 40, 80% for 41 to 50, 60% for 51 to 60, 40% for 61 to 70 and 20% from run 71.
When does the AION 2 Ludra check-in event end?
The Ludra Conquest Check-In runs until November 17, 2026 at 23:59 PST (November 18, 08:59 CET). It has 7 rewards over 14 days, so you can miss up to 7 days.
How do you get Ludra's Bracelet in AION 2?
Combine 6 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra or 3 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) through Substance Morph. Ludra's Bracelet is Bound and can be Amplified up to level 5.
