AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist: Timers, Rewards & Progress
Plan AION 2 daily and weekly activities around your live timers, reward limits, Odyle Energy and progression goals.
A useful AION 2 routine starts with the timers and rewards your character actually has. Separate expiring activities from resources that regenerate, then choose a short list of progression goals. This checklist helps you plan a session without treating one region’s caps, ticket rules or reset hour as universal.
Your First Five Minutes After Login
- Open the activity panel and check today’s available quests, reward claims and reset timers.
- Inspect each resource meter: current amount, maximum, recovery rule and whether the pool is shared with other characters.
- Read the next dungeon’s requirements and reward cost before spending a limited resource.
- Claim mail and completed rewards, then make inventory space for the session.
- Choose one expiring objective and one progression goal you can finish within the time available.
Daily, Weekly or Regenerating: Read the Timer
How to classify an activity
| What the game shows | What to record | How to plan |
|---|---|---|
| A daily reset countdown | Remaining reward claims and reset time | Complete the rewards you need before that countdown ends. |
| A weekly reset countdown | Unused eligible attempts or reward claims | Schedule a safe clear before the final day. |
| A regenerating resource | Current amount, cap and recovery rate | Avoid losing useful regeneration while keeping enough for your planned activity. |
| An event window | Region, eligibility and opening/closing time | Plan around the live event schedule. |
| A permanent collection | Collected progress and next desired milestone | Fit nearby collection into your route after expiring priorities. |
An activity’s name does not establish its reset rule. Check Daily Dungeons, Ascension Trials, Nightmare and Shugo Festival individually rather than assigning them all the same schedule. This guide does not assume an 840 Energy cap, a 14-key or ticket cap, or a fixed unlock level for every client.
Dungeon Rewards and Odyle Energy
NC’s July 6 Chapter 1 announcement removed entry tickets for Expedition and Transcendence dungeons in that update and described Odyle Energy as the reward resource. Older ticket checklists may therefore be unsuitable for a client running those rules. Separate entering or clearing an activity from claiming its reward, and check the cost your own client displays.
Choose Expeditions for the selected dungeon clears, or Transcendence for a dungeon and stage. These are different configurations; use the dungeon comparison guide before planning a repeated order.
Plan Around the Time You Have
A flexible session plan
| Time available | First priority | Optional next step |
|---|---|---|
| 10 minutes | Check timers and claim completed rewards | Prepare the next activity and clear inventory space. |
| 30 minutes | Finish one short expiring objective | Collect nearby Traces or complete a useful quest. |
| One hour | Complete the most useful eligible clear | Review gear and skill improvements earned during the session. |
| Before reset | Finish the remaining rewards you intend to claim | Check relevant shops or crafts only if their limit also expires. |
Use Alts Only After Checking Shared Limits
Before repeating an activity on an alt, check whether its reward, attempt limit or resource belongs to the character, account or server. Do not create another character on the assumption that every limit refreshes independently. Compare the additional reward with the time and resources needed to make that character eligible.
First-Week Progress Without a Rigid Checklist
- Follow the story and unlock systems that are available to your character.
- Identify the activity you want to enter and read its actual requirements.
- Spend affordable upgrades on the bottleneck that prevents progress.
- Collect nearby Empyrean Traces instead of crossing the whole map for every marker.
- Schedule limited rewards before their displayed reset; leave optional farming for the remaining time.
For collection planning, use the Empyrean Traces guide. For upgrade decisions, use the Combat Power guide and keep Item Level requirements separate from CP.

AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist FAQ
Checklist FAQ
When does AION 2 reset?
Use the countdown in your regional client. Your physical location and the website’s display timezone do not determine the game server’s reset.
Does every activity reset daily?
No. Classify each activity from its displayed limit, reward timer or regeneration rule rather than its name.
Should I save all runs until the end of the week?
Leave time for upgrades if they will help, but schedule a safe clear before rewards expire. Waiting until the last hour creates avoidable risk.
Do alts duplicate every reward?
Check whether each limit is per character, account or server. This guide does not assume every alt receives an independent pool.
Are Expedition entry tickets always required?
The July 6 Chapter 1 publisher announcement changed those rules. Check the entry and reward panels in your current regional client.
