AION 2 Dungeon Guide: Expeditions, Transcendence & Trials
Prepare AION 2 PvE runs, diagnose dungeon blockers and compare Expeditions, Transcendence, Ascension Trials and 3+1 bundles with clear Quantity examples.
AION 2 PvE progression starts with a dungeon you can enter and an objective worth its reward cost. Use this guide to prepare a clear, identify what is stopping your group, and compare the exact dungeon, stage or difficulty offered in CFNBoost’s current catalog.
Plan Your Next AION 2 PvE Clear
- Choose a specific objective: an Episode requirement, a useful reward or practice on an encounter.
- Check the exact dungeon, difficulty or stage and the requirements displayed for your character.
- Read entry and reward-claim rules separately, including the resources the client asks you to spend.
- Agree group responsibilities and prepare movement, defensive tools, consumables and inventory space.
- After the attempt, record why it succeeded or failed before changing the activity or buying more runs.
Diagnose a dungeon run before repeating it
| Problem | Check first | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot enter | Level, equipment, unlock and mode shown on the entry screen | Meet the stated condition before planning a clear. |
| Repeatedly fails at one mechanic | What triggers the failure and how the group responds | Practice that response rather than repeating the same pull unchanged. |
| Survives but misses the objective | Target access, downtime, build and relevant item attributes | Compare your setup with the task; do not assume a rarity upgrade solves it. |
| Clear succeeds but reward is unavailable | Claim cost and current reward availability | Check the reward screen before spending on another attempt. |
For equipment choices, compare the gear upgrade worksheet. If a story requirement is the blocker, follow the leveling route. Dungeon names in the catalog describe what we offer; they do not rank every dungeon by loot efficiency.
AION 2 Dungeon Services at a Glance
Compare the currently available configurations
| Service | Main selection | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Expeditions | Choose dungeons, difficulty and Quantity | Selected Expedition clears in a repeated configured order. |
| Transcendence | Choose one dungeon, one stage and Quantity | A specific stage target in an available Transcendence dungeon. |
| Ascension Trials | Choose Difficulty and Quantity | Clears at the selected Trial difficulty. |
| Any 3+1 Dungeon Bundle | First, Second, Third and Free Dungeon | Four chosen clears with three paid dungeon selections. |
This table describes CFNBoost’s published services, not every dungeon currently available in every regional client. A newer dungeon or difficulty appearing in a publisher update is not automatically included in an existing service.
Expeditions: Choose the Dungeons You Need
The Expeditions configurator lets you select Krao Cave, Draupnir, Urugugu Canyon, Vakron Sky Island, Fire Temple and Ferocious Horn Den. The first three are $4 each; the other three are $8 each. Select the dungeons for your configured order, then choose Quantity.
Conquest is the default difficulty. Conquest Hard has a fixed $2 difficulty add-on displayed in the configurator. This differs from the percentage adjustment used by the Dungeon Bundle. Review the live total after setting Quantity, completion method and speed; the checkout is the authority for the combined calculation.
Transcendence: Choose a Dungeon and Stage
The Transcendence service currently offers Deus Research Base or Shattered Arcanis, followed by a single stage from 1 to 10. Selecting the dungeon has no separate surcharge; the selected stage sets the base price.
Published Transcendence stage prices
| Stage | Base price |
|---|---|
| 1–4 | $4 |
| 5–6 | $6 |
| 7 | $8 |
| 8 | $10 |
| 9 | $15 |
| 10 | $20 |
Quantity repeats the selected dungeon-and-stage configuration. Check the entry requirement for that exact stage in your regional client; a stage number is not the same selection as Expedition difficulty.
Ascension Trials: Choose the Difficulty
The Ascension Trials service offers Easy at $5, Normal at $10, Hard at $15 and Extreme at $20 before Quantity and completion-speed charges. Select the difficulty your character can enter rather than assuming a higher-priced option removes the game’s eligibility checks.
Publisher updates have expanded Ascension Trial difficulty tiers. CFNBoost’s order includes only the option actually selected in this configurator; it does not promise every newly announced tier.
Any 3+1 Dungeon Bundle: Four Clears, Three Paid Selections
The Any 3+1 Dungeon Bundle has four separate lists using the same six dungeon choices as Expeditions. First, Second and Third Dungeon are paid selections; the Free Dungeon’s listed base price is crossed out and contributes zero to the dungeon-selection subtotal.
- Choose the four dungeon selections you want cleared.
- Choose one difficulty for the entire bundle. Conquest Hard is a 20% adjustment, displayed as its calculated dollar amount.
- Choose Piloted or Selfplay where available. Selfplay adds a separate calculated 20% charge.
- Review the configured bundle quantity and optional completion speed before adding it to your cart.
The Free Dungeon means one included dungeon selection, not that every optional bundle upgrade is free. Difficulty and method options affect the configured bundle; rely on the current checkout summary for the combined total.
Quantity, Completion Speed and Order Total
Expeditions, Transcendence and Ascension Trials use Quantity to repeat the complete selected configuration. Quantity is separate from the number of dungeon choices or a stage number. Express and Super Express are optional paid speed selections, not different difficulty levels. Delivery timing is arranged with the assigned PRO and depends on the service and selected options.
How Many Clears Does Quantity Include?
Examples using the current configurators
| Configuration | Quantity / Runs | Ordered clears |
|---|---|---|
| Expeditions: Krao Cave and Fire Temple selected | Quantity 3 | Six clears: each of the two selections is repeated three times. |
| Transcendence: one dungeon and Stage 7 selected | Quantity 2 | Two clears at the same selected stage; this does not add stages 1–6. |
| Ascension Trials: one difficulty selected | Quantity 2 | Two clears at that difficulty; other difficulties are not added. |
| Any 3+1 Dungeon Bundle: four slots selected | Number of Runs 2 | Eight clears: all four selected slots are repeated twice. |
For the first example, Krao Cave ($4) plus Fire Temple ($8) gives a $12 dungeon-selection subtotal. Quantity 3 makes that subtotal $36 before optional difficulty, method or speed adjustments. Prices are CFNBoost order prices checked October 4, 2026, not an in-game entry fee or estimated reward value. Review the live total before payment.
Before Ordering Any Dungeon Service
- Check your regional client, character and dungeon access.
- Read the selected difficulty or stage’s entry requirements from the game screen.
- Check the resources needed for entry and reward claims, rather than relying on an old ticket checklist.
- Decide which clears you want and review Quantity before payment.
- Confirm account access for a service that requires piloted completion; choose Selfplay only where the service offers it.
- Treat a completed clear and a guaranteed named item as different promises. These services retain rewards earned by your character but do not promise a particular random drop.
NC’s July 6 Chapter 1 announcement changed Expedition and Transcendence ticket and reward rules. Confirm the rules in your current client instead of assuming a dated announcement applies to every region. Our daily and weekly checklist helps plan around live timers and rewards.

AION 2 Dungeon Services FAQ
Dungeon comparison FAQ
How do I choose my next AION 2 PvE dungeon?
Start with the objective you want to complete, then check the exact dungeon and mode’s entry and reward conditions in your client. If repeated clears fail, identify the mechanic, setup or access issue before choosing more runs. The listed services cover their selected tasks; they are not a universal loot-efficiency ranking.
Which service should I choose for ordinary dungeon clears?
Use Expeditions for the listed Expedition choices, or the Any 3+1 Dungeon Bundle for four separate dungeon selections. Check the exact names offered before ordering.
Is a Transcendence stage the same as Conquest Hard?
No. Transcendence uses its dungeon-and-stage selection. Expeditions and the Dungeon Bundle have their own Conquest difficulty choices.
Does Quantity mean a higher stage?
No. Quantity repeats the selected configuration. Choose the required stage or difficulty separately.
Is the Free Dungeon always free with every option?
Its base dungeon selection contributes zero. Optional bundle difficulty, completion method and speed charges still affect the configured order total.
Can I choose Selfplay on every dungeon service?
Only where the configurator offers it. The Dungeon Bundle includes Piloted and Selfplay; do not assume that other services offer both.
Do these services guarantee a specific item drop?
No specific random item is promised by these configurations. Your character keeps the loot and rewards earned during the ordered clears.
How do I arrange the order?
After payment confirmation, track the order from your dashboard. Once a PRO is assigned, use the order chat to agree the next steps and schedule.
