T&L NC Transition: Nov 10 Checklist
T&L moves from Amazon Game Studios to NC on November 10, 2026. What transfers, what resets, the Xbox and PURPLE changes and what to do before maintenance.
The T&L NC transition happens on November 10, 2026 (Pacific Time): Amazon Game Studios stops publishing the Western version and NC, the developer, takes over live service. Your characters, items, currency and progression move across automatically, so nothing breaks if you simply log in afterwards, but there are a few things worth doing before the maintenance starts. Here is what the official notices confirm, what resets, and our checklist.
Key dates for the move to NC
The handover was first announced in August for Q4 2026, and the October 8 notice fixed the dates. The table below is everything with a confirmed day; times are Pacific unless a notice said otherwise.
T&L transition timeline
| Date | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 26, 2026 | Update 4.18.0 maintenance. Auction House closes; Celebration Packs, Character Boost and Lucent packs are removed from Steam, Xbox, PlayStation and the in-game Shop. | Collect returned listings from the NPC Storage Manager; pending sale Lucent is already in your balance. |
| Oct 30, 2026 | Last day of the opt-out window. | Nothing, unless you wanted to start fresh. Doing nothing means your data transfers. |
| Before Nov 10 | Storage Chest items should be claimed. | Claim store purchases, Twitch Drops and Game Pass / PlayStation Plus perks. Unclaimed items are mailed to you automatically. |
| Nov 10, 2026 | Service transition maintenance; game unavailable while data moves to NC. Battlegrounds and Hall of Illusion seasons end and restart right after. | Download the new client update. On Xbox, install the new NC app. |
| First login after | NC Terms and Policies, plus any account activation steps. | Accept the terms yourself and finish activation before anyone else logs in. |
| Nov 11, 2026 | New Dimensional Trial and Gate of Infinity seasons begin (current ones end Nov 6 and Nov 5). | Push your season goals before the old seasons close. |
What carries over to NC
The short version: almost everything. NC is taking over the same game and the same database, so the transfer is a copy of your account, not a server merge where you rebuild.
- Account and characters: account ID, character data, platform identifiers, items, progression and entitlements.
- Currencies: Lucent, Loyalty Points, Sollant and Ornate Coins keep their amounts. The notices warn that terms of use and expiry policies may change under NC.
- Social data: Friends, Feuds and Interests lists.
- Guilds: guild progress and members, minus any characters that opted out.
- Mail: unclaimed mail and attachments can be claimed after the migration.
- Platform accounts: your Steam, PlayStation and Xbox accounts and play history stay the same; no repurchase or reinstall is needed, just a patch.
- Penalties: ban and penalty history moves too, so a suspension does not reset.
What resets or does not carry over
A handful of things are explicitly left behind. None of them touch your gear, but two of them can cost you time if you only notice after the maintenance.
- Blocked list: reset to empty.
- Support tickets: tickets sent to the Amazon Game Studios customer center are not transferred. Support moves to NC after the migration; NC's contact details are still to be announced.
- UI settings changed after Update 4.18.0: Settings menu options, chat tabs, HUD layout, Ring Menu, combat settings, Storage Quick Deposit, Artifact search presets and map icon filters reset to their pre-4.18.0 state.
- Favorites: saved favorites in Quests, Auction House, Morphs, Crafting, Runes and Artifacts are reset.
- Not reset: content-specific Skill and Equipment presets stay as they are.
- Opted-out characters: removed from guilds and friends lists, and their progression does not transfer.
Our tip: take screenshots of your HUD layout and key settings now. Rebuilding a layout from memory after a long maintenance day is the most annoying part of any migration.
Steam, PURPLE, PlayStation and Xbox after the move
Cross-play stays exactly as it is, and all four access points share one game environment. Progression is a different story, so check which row applies to you.
Platform changes after November 10
| Platform | What changes | Progression |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | New client update; same Steam account. | Shared with PURPLE |
| PURPLE (NC launcher) | New way to access the game on PC. | Shared with Steam |
| PlayStation | New client update; same PlayStation account. | Independent |
| Xbox | Current app renamed "T&L AGS"; you must install the new "T&L" app published by NC. | Independent |
If you play on PC, the Steam and PURPLE link means you can switch launchers without losing anything. Console players keep separate progression, as before.
Names, guilds and regions
Because the Western service is being folded into NC's own service, some names will collide. NC's tie-break rules are simple and worth knowing if you own a short or popular name.
- Character names: the character with the higher Combat Power keeps the name, with playtime as the tie-breaker. The other gets a random name and one Character Rename Ticket.
- Guild names: the guild with more Guild Activity Points keeps the name, then Guild Experience breaks ties. The other guild gets a random name and one rename.
- Regions: Americas, Europe, Japan and Oceania all remain; Japan and Oceania are renamed "Asia, Oceania". Realms are not consolidated.
- Region transfers: possible with the in-game feature before the transition. NC will publish its own transfer policy afterwards.
If a guild leader opts out, leadership passes by automatic succession; a guild left with no members is disbanded.
Auction House, shop and Lucent during the transition
This is the part that changes how you play for the next two weeks. With the Auction House closed since October 26, you cannot sell drops or buy upgrades from other players until NC reopens it, and no reopening date has been given.
- Listings that were active on October 26 went back to the NPC Storage Manager, even if that pushed you over storage capacity.
- Lucent from completed sales was credited to your balance.
- Lucent you already own can still be spent until the transition, and any balance carries over.
- Celebration Packs, Character Boost and Lucent packs are off sale on every platform until NC announces its shop.
In practice: hold tradeable drops instead of vendoring them, and plan any gear jump around what you can farm or craft yourself until trading returns.
Seasons and content around November 10
The transition day is also a content day. The November 10 update starts NC's self-publishing and brings the Skill Core rework, which moves cores from weapon engraving to free, registered slots and converts leftover Imprint and Extraction Scrolls.
- Gate of Infinity: current season ends November 5, new season November 11.
- Dimensional Trial: current season ends November 6, new season November 11.
- Battlegrounds and Hall of Illusion: seasons end November 10 and the new ones start immediately after.
- Major updates: the notices say some larger updates planned around the transfer may be rescheduled.
Your checklist before November 10
- Check your Amazon Games ID. Make sure it is active and linked to your Steam, PlayStation or Xbox account; the notice recommends it for everyone.
- Empty your Storage Chest. Claim store items, Twitch Drops and console perks so you are not digging through mail later.
- Collect returned Auction House items from the NPC Storage Manager and make space for incoming mail.
- Close or note open support tickets. They will not move to NC.
- Screenshot your HUD and settings, especially anything changed after October 26.
- Finish seasonal goals in Gate of Infinity and Dimensional Trial before November 5 and 6.
- Decide on region transfers now if you planned one; after the move you depend on NC's new policy.
- Xbox players: be ready to install the new NC app. PC players can pick Steam or PURPLE.
Boosting during the transition
If you use a boosting service, expect any piloted session to pause while the servers are down. After the maintenance, log in yourself first: accepting NC's Terms and finishing activation is the account owner's job, and it keeps your account secure. Self-play options, where you play alongside a PRO in your own session, are not affected beyond the downtime. Our piloted vs self-play guide explains the difference.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
When does T&L move to NC?
The service transition maintenance begins on November 10, 2026 (Pacific Time), which is November 11 in Korea. Amazon Game Studios had not announced the exact start time or how long the maintenance lasts as of October 30, 2026.
Will I lose my T&L characters after the NC transition?
No, unless you opted out before October 30, 2026. Characters, items, currencies, progression, entitlements, guild membership and unclaimed mail transfer to NC automatically. You only need to accept NC's Terms and Policies and complete any activation steps at your first login.
Do I need to reinstall T&L or buy it again?
No. Steam, PlayStation and Xbox accounts stay the same and every platform gets a normal update. The exception is Xbox, where you must install the new T&L app published by NC; the current app has been renamed T&L AGS.
What is PURPLE in T&L?
PURPLE is NC's own launcher and platform. After the transition it becomes another way to play on PC, and it shares progression with Steam. PlayStation and Xbox keep independent progression, while cross-play between all platforms stays as it is.
When does the T&L Auction House reopen?
The Auction House closed with the October 26 maintenance and reopens after NC's service goes live. NC has not announced a date yet. Items that were listed were returned to the NPC Storage Manager and Lucent from completed sales was added to your balance.
What happens to my Lucent after the transition?
Your Lucent balance, along with Loyalty Points, Sollant and Ornate Coins, carries over unchanged and can still be spent before the transition. The notices say the terms of use and expiry policies of these currencies may change under NC.
