Destiny 2 Wish-Ender Guide 2026: Quest & Catalyst
Follow Hunters’ Remembrance for Wish-Ender, check its three memento objectives, learn the Catalyst route and understand Queen’s Wrath and One for All.
Wish-Ender is a Kinetic Exotic Bow with shield-piercing arrows and a fully drawn aiming effect. To obtain it, follow Hunters’ Remembrance into The Shattered Throne, purify the three Awoken mementos and present them at Sjur Eido’s statue.
Reviewed October 14, 2026. This guide separates the bow quest from its Catalyst. Wish-Ender now has a Catalyst, and Bungie has released a fix for its final-encounter drop in The Shattered Throne.
Choose the Goal You Still Need
Bow and Catalyst progression
| Your starting point | Next goal | Confirmation to look for |
|---|---|---|
| You do not own Wish-Ender | Follow Hunters’ Remembrance. | Three purification objectives, then the statue handoff. |
| You own the bow but not the Catalyst | Pursue the Shattered Throne final-encounter Catalyst reward. | The actual Catalyst received on your account. |
| You have an unfinished Catalyst | Defeat targets using Wish-Ender. | Complete the 500-target objective and apply the upgrade. |
| The upgraded bow is ready | Learn its aiming and One for All conditions. | Useful shots and the expected active effect. |
An ordinary dungeon completion, the quest’s statue handoff and the Catalyst reward are different checkpoints. Check which one you need before putting a group together or repeating a completed quest step.
Check Access and Start Hunters’ Remembrance
The Forsaken Pack includes The Shattered Throne. Bungie Help locates the dungeon through the Dreaming City map. Confirm your account can launch it before organizing the quest route. The help page also contains an old 2022 campaign notice; that is not a current instruction to replay the vaulted campaign. Bungie’s Forsaken Pack access guide.
The current Hunters’ Remembrance quest begins by asking you to visit Petra Venj in the Dreaming City. Its ordered steps then require three purified mementos, a presentation at Sjur Eido’s statue and a final return to Petra. Current quest definitions in Bungie’s manifest.
- Check whether Hunters’ Remembrance is already in your quest log.
- Visit Petra Venj and follow the available quest prompt.
- Confirm the Awoken Mementos item and the purification objectives before entering the dungeon.
- Keep the quest tracked on the character used for the run.
- If you previously abandoned the quest, inspect the Quest Archive before repeating the dungeon.
If the quest or required item is missing, resolve that state before the run. A teammate reaching the statue does not establish that your character has the required mementos. Avoid deleting characters or quest items as a speculative workaround.
Purify the Three Awoken Mementos
The current quest requires three special Taken targets: a Minotaur in Erebus, a Captain in The Descent and an Ogre in Eleusinia. These named objectives are the progress to track; simply finishing the ordinary encounters is not a substitute. Current purification objectives.
Quest targets in dungeon order
| Quest objective | Dungeon area | What to check afterward |
|---|---|---|
| Minotaur hunted | Erebus | The first purification objective is complete. |
| Captain hunted | The Descent | The second purification objective is complete. |
| Ogre hunted | Eleusinia | The third purification objective is complete. |
Plan the optional quest encounters before moving through each area. Let the group know the run is for Wish-Ender so it can stop for the memento route instead of rushing past the necessary interactions. Check the tracked objective after each special target.
For visual directions, TriiGz’s July 29, 2026 guide provides chapters for obtaining the memento, Querim, Eriviks, Xavoth and the weapon handoff. The recording is attributed player guidance, not a CFNBoost PRO clear. Open the chaptered quest demonstration.
Its chapter names use “token” as a route label. Your current quest objectives and Awoken Mementos state are the progress checks to use; do not interpret a video label as a requirement to recreate an old three-token inventory quest.
Claim the Bow at Sjur Eido’s Statue
- Confirm all three purification objectives are complete.
- Continue to Sjur Eido’s statue in The Shattered Throne.
- Use the presentation prompt while the required mementos are available.
- Check the Wish-Ender weapon handoff on your character.
- Return to Petra Venj for the quest’s final debriefing.
The quest definitions distinguish the statue presentation from the final Petra visit. Verify both the weapon and the remaining quest state before marking the route finished. A full final-boss clear is a separate completion goal from the bow handoff.
If the statue asks for purified mementos, inspect the tracked objectives and item first. Record what is missing and use Bungie’s Help resources if that state does not match your completed objectives. This guide does not promise that abandoning the quest or changing characters fixes every account issue.
Get and Complete the Wish-Ender Catalyst
Wish-Ender has a Catalyst in the current weapon definition. Update 9.7.0.1 fixes the problem that prevented it dropping from The Shattered Throne’s final encounter. Pursue that reward separately from Hunters’ Remembrance, then verify the actual Catalyst received before leaving. Released Catalyst-drop correction.
The released note establishes the final encounter as the drop source. It does not state a guaranteed first-clear reward, drop percentage or unlimited eligibility for every difficulty. Check the live reward conditions before planning repeated runs.
The current Catalyst objective requires 500 targets defeated using Wish-Ender. Obtaining the Catalyst does not immediately complete that progress: use the bow, check its counter and apply the upgrade when it is ready. Current Catalyst objective.
Its current perk is One for All: hitting three separate targets activates a temporary damage increase. The condition is about separate targets, not three shots into one enemy. Choose an activity where you can deliberately hit several enemies while maintaining a comfortable firing position. Current Catalyst perk description.
Use Queen’s Wrath and Broadhead
Queen’s Wrath highlights combatants behind walls while you aim with a fully drawn bow, and its arrows pierce shields. The intrinsic is strong against Barrier Champions. Broadhead damages a target on entry and exit and can pass through multiple targets. Current Wish-Ender weapon description.
Highlighting an enemy behind a wall does not itself promise that your arrow can pass through the wall. Use the information to prepare a clear shot rather than treating visibility and projectile collision as the same effect.
Released Update 7.3.5 makes True Sight stop when you leave aiming or hold it longer than three seconds; fully redraw the bow to reactivate it. Keep that boundary in mind instead of assuming an indefinitely held draw gives continuous highlighting. Released True Sight behavior.
Turn the perk into a useful action
| Condition | Practical decision |
|---|---|
| Fully drawn and aiming | Use the highlight to choose the next clear shot. |
| Highlight has ended | Redraw rather than waiting with the same held draw. |
| Barrier Champion present | Prepare a shield-piercing shot as part of the encounter plan. |
| Several enemies can be hit | Consider the separate-target One for All condition after upgrading. |
Practice drawing, aiming and releasing from cover in manageable content. Build the rest of the loadout around enemies or situations the bow does not handle comfortably. The Destiny 2 New Player Guide explains broader equipment choices.
Avoid Mixing Different Progression Systems
Old references to a Tangled Shore mission and separate Dreaming/Waking Tokens describe an earlier route. Follow the current Hunters’ Remembrance objectives, mementos and statue presentation rather than combining every historical guide into one checklist.
Dungeon reward farming is another separate goal. Use the Raid and Dungeon Rotation Guide for broader weekly planning, and verify the Wish-Ender quest and Catalyst conditions independently.

Wish-Ender FAQ
Quest, Catalyst and bow questions
Which quest gives Wish-Ender now?
Follow Hunters’ Remembrance: visit Petra, purify the three mementos in The Shattered Throne, present them at Sjur Eido’s statue and return to Petra for the debriefing.
Which Taken targets does the current quest require?
Its objectives specify a Minotaur in Erebus, a Captain in The Descent and an Ogre in Eleusinia. Check each objective after the special encounter.
Does an ordinary Shattered Throne clear finish the weapon quest?
The quest needs its purification objectives and statue handoff. An ordinary clear alone does not establish that those steps were completed on your character.
Does Wish-Ender have a Catalyst in 2026?
Yes. It appears in the current weapon definition, and Bungie’s released Update 9.7.0.1 fixes its drop from the final Shattered Throne encounter.
How many defeats complete the Catalyst?
The current objective requires 500 targets defeated using Wish-Ender. Watch the counter and apply the upgrade after completing it.
How does One for All activate?
Hit three separate targets to activate its temporary damage increase. Three hits on a single target are not the same condition.
Can I keep True Sight active by holding the draw indefinitely?
The released behavior ends True Sight after leaving aiming or holding it longer than three seconds. Fully redraw the bow to reactivate it.
Does the linked coaching card include the bow quest or Catalyst?
It covers timed build and loadout advice with Self-play included. The current catalogue does not publish a named Wish-Ender quest or Catalyst package.
