ARC Raiders Map Conditions Guide: Modifiers and Best Loot
Learn how every ARC Raiders Map Condition changes loot, enemies, and routes, from Prospecting Probes and Uncovered Caches to Night Raid, Hidden Bunker, Cold Snap, and boss events.
Map Conditions are rotating modifiers that change the weather, enemies, loot focus, and risk of an ARC Raiders raid. They are the difference between a relaxed materials run and a lobby full of squads chasing the same blueprint. This CFNBoost guide explains all current minor and major conditions, what each is good for, and how to build a run around the modifier instead of fighting it.
ARC Raiders Map Conditions Quick Summary
- There are 13 current conditions: 7 Minor conditions focused on one loot type and 6 Major conditions with higher danger and stronger rewards.
- The rotation changes every hour, so check the condition timer before choosing a map or packing a loadout.
- Minor conditions are best for targeted materials, grenades, nature items, or a low-cost recovery run.
- Major conditions increase difficulty and can award higher rarity loot, unique blueprints, or doubled Trial progress.
- Night Raid is the easiest major condition to learn; Hidden Bunker, Harvester, and Matriarch demand a clear objective and an extraction plan.
A condition is a route modifier, not a guarantee. The same event can be profitable in one lobby and dangerous in the next depending on spawn, squad density, and whether another team has already completed the objective.

How Map Conditions Rotate
Conditions change on an hourly rotation and the map-selection menu shows the active countdown. The schedule is not always visible far in advance, so treat the menu as the source of truth before you queue. If a condition does not match your current project, wait for the next window rather than forcing a bad loadout into a high-risk lobby.
Rotation checklist
| Before queueing | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Read the condition name | It tells you whether the run is material, event, boss, or blueprint focused. |
| Check the countdown | A late queue can put you into a different rotation after a failed run. |
| Match your objective | Bring the augment, pockets, and consumables that fit the condition. |
| Plan extraction first | Events create predictable hotspots; know where you will leave. |
| Set a stop rule | Leave after the target reward instead of staying for optional loot. |
Minor Conditions: Targeted Farming
Minor conditions usually have a narrow reward focus. They are a strong way to rebuild after a wipe or gather a workshop resource without risking your best weapons. Their enemies and rival players can still punish a careless route, but the condition itself is easier to read than a major event.
Prospecting Probes
Prospecting Probes scatter ARC devices around the map and are one of the clearest ways to farm ARC Alloy and ARC Circuitry. Opening a probe creates a loud alarm, so work the map edge, open one quickly, and move before the signal attracts a squad.
Husk Graveyard
Husk Graveyard fills the map with ARC Husks and is useful for ARC Powercells and the Search the Husks Trial. Electrified husks can stun you; step away after opening one and treat the better loot as a bonus rather than standing still in a dangerous field.
Uncovered Caches
Uncovered Caches are the early combat-farming condition. Caches usually contain ammo, healing, and a grenade, with chances at weapon and weapon-part blueprints. Buried City is a strong route because caches cluster around the desert outside the city center. Use safe pockets and leave before the lobby converges on the same spawns.
Lush Blooms
Lush Blooms create Fruit Baskets with nature loot and are excellent for Mushrooms, Scrappy upgrades, and coins. Move fast, keep the route compact, and avoid staying longer than the profitable basket loop; Dam Battlegrounds is especially competitive because players know its basket locations.
Launch Tower Loot
Launch Tower Loot is unique to Spaceport. Find two Fuel Cells, carry them to the tower generators, and prepare for a high-pressure fight around the summit. A squad is safer than a solo attempt because players and ARCs can hold the tower from several angles.
Harvester and Matriarch
Harvester and Matriarch are boss-oriented conditions. Harvester uses a puzzle and a Queen ARC, with Jupiter and Equalizer blueprint paths tied to its rewards. Matriarch is a direct boss fight and can provide the reactor used for the Aphelion rifle. Treat the first clear as the main objective; repeated attempts are for specific crafting parts.
Boss condition decision
| Condition | Primary objective | Safe habit |
|---|---|---|
| Harvester | Solve the event once and secure the blueprint path. | Assign the puzzle, add a fallback extraction, and do not overstay. |
| Harvester repeat | Farm Queen parts for Jupiter or Equalizer crafting. | Return only with a build that can handle the ARC pressure. |
| Matriarch | Defeat the boss and secure the reactor. | Bring healing, armor, and enough time for a clean exit. |
| Either event | Collect objective loot without starting an unnecessary PvP fight. | Use audio and cover; do not split from the squad near the reward. |

Major Conditions: Higher Risk, Better Reasons to Queue
Major conditions make the map harder but can improve loot quality or Trial progress. They are not automatically better for every raid. Enter when the reward solves a current goal, not simply because the condition name looks rare.
Night Raid
Night Raid is the most approachable major condition. It increases ARC activity and can improve the feel of high-value zones while doubling Trial points. Use gear that does not glow, keep visibility tools ready, and take a normal loot route before committing to the hottest area.
Electromagnetic Storm
Electromagnetic Storm is a sharper difficulty step. Bring a loadout you can replace, limit the number of valuable items in your backpack, and make the objective short. The condition rewards preparation more than greed.
Hidden Bunker
Hidden Bunker takes place on Spaceport. Activate four antennas inside the time window, enter the bunker, and download data from its consoles while Bastions and Bombardiers guard the area. The event can expose Vulcano and Bobcat blueprint opportunities, but the final room is also where cooperation can turn into a fight.
- Confirm the four antenna route before the timer becomes a problem.
- Split console assignments only when the squad can still regroup.
- Watch weapon posture and door angles around the data rooms.
- Take the blueprint or data objective and extract instead of clearing every nearby room.
Locked Gate
Locked Gate is a major objective condition built around finding four Security Codes and opening the underground gate near the Checkpoint. The codes can be found at Pilgrimβs Peak, Raiderβs Refuge, Ancient Fort, and Reinforced Reception. Because each piece can be carried away by another player, place your route and safe pocket plan before entering the map.
Cold Snap
Cold Snap covers the maps in snow except Stella Montis. Your character begins freezing outside, but any structure with walls counts as shelter. Use buildings as reset points, collect Candleberries when the route is safe, and do not let the weather push you into an exposed crossing with a full backpack.
Close Scrutiny
Close Scrutiny is a newer major modifier with a high-pressure loop. Treat it like a preparation check: use a replaceable kit, keep the route compact, and leave when the condition objective is complete. If the lobby is already loud, a short materials run is better than forcing a full clear.
Choose the Best Condition for Your Goal
Condition by goal
| Goal | Best condition | Why |
|---|---|---|
| ARC materials | Prospecting Probes | Direct access to ARC Alloy and ARC Circuitry. |
| Powercells and Trial progress | Husk Graveyard | Many husks and a clear Trial objective. |
| Grenades and early blueprints | Uncovered Caches | Combat supplies plus weapon-part blueprint chances. |
| Coins and nature loot | Lush Blooms | Fruit Baskets and Mushroom routes. |
| General Trial progress | Night Raid | Doubled Trial points with a manageable major modifier. |
| Blueprint objective | Hidden Bunker or Harvester | Unique event paths for Vulcano, Bobcat, Jupiter, and Equalizer. |
| Aphelion materials | Matriarch | Boss reactor route. |
| Weather challenge | Cold Snap | Shelter-based route and Candleberry collection. |
Map Condition Loadout Checklist
- Read the condition and choose one reward you actually need.
- Pack a kit you can replace if the first spawn is contested.
- Use safe pockets for blueprints, codes, event parts, or rare materials.
- Mark the nearest shelter or fallback before entering an objective area.
- Keep enough healing and ammunition for the extraction leg.
- Leave after the target reward; optional loot is never free.
- Review the next rotation after the run and bank materials before queueing again.
Common Map Condition Mistakes
- Queueing a boss condition with a loadout built only for quiet looting.
- Staying in Lush Blooms after the best basket loop is already empty.
- Opening a loud Probe or Cache and waiting at the same spot.
- Entering Hidden Bunker without assigning antennas and console roles.
- Carrying every code or event part in regular inventory instead of a safe pocket.
- Wearing glowing apparel during a Night Raid.
- Assuming a major condition guarantees a blueprint.
- Ignoring the next rotation and wasting a rare condition window on the wrong goal.
